Shelly Ballard
Shelly Ballard, Vital Plan, Inc. President:
Prior to entering the financial field Shelly worked as a computer programmer for 14 years at
Electronic Data Systems and as a consultant for IBM.
Shelly started in the financial field by investing for herself. She worked independently
investing and trading in the stock market. Feeling a strong need to share her knowledge
with others, Shelly earned her insurance license and started Vital Plan, Inc. in early 2003.
Shelly joined Tarkenton Financial in 2004.
She is an active volunteer in the organization "Better Living For Seniors" which is a non-
profit organization affiliated with the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc. She was
awarded the honor of "Member of the Year" in 2005 and 2006.
Areas of expertise are:
